Ms. Angelia White's life motto "Do it all professionally or don't do it all. Do it all in the Spirit of Excellence or leave it alone. Be FABULOUS while you are doing it!"
The "Fabulous" Angelia White was a lover of people! A Christian woman of much faith. Born on December 6, 2064, she was destined for greatness. And great she was!
Ms. White loved sports (Dallas Cowboys), loved the performing arts and loved her some "chilren". She was everybody's child mama. We are sure that all of her two (Carl Livingston Jr. & Anthony Livingston) son's high school friends and her sister's (Star Brown) as well, called her mama!
If Ms. White was not at some neighbor's child's game on the weekend, you could find her coaching or directing the cheerleader's squad.
The Lovely Angelia, also had a beautiful voice (if you move your mouse over her pic you will directed to a video where we share her beautiful vocal talent). She was the daughter of the famous and late, Charles White, of the Charles White Blues Band. The apple certainly didn't fall far from the tree! (Move your mouse over Mr. Charles pic below to enjoy an awesome video of his band.
Angelia White was also the CEO of Ladies & Gents and up scaled event planning company. If you wanted a classy, relaxing, and professional event, you just had to call this CEO and Ladies & Gents was all over it!
Ms. White and the CEO of Anjelica Records, Francez Johnson both envisioned and event that would raise funds to allow an high school student to attend a performing arts college or university. A student whose dreams may not be attainable due financial obstacles.
After months of thoughts and round the table discussions the two envisioned, THE MUSIC LOVE AWARDS. And the planning began.
Angelia suffered with a brain tumor for more than 10 years, to the which she succumbed on November 24, 2012. We miss her dearly. Her professionalism and dedication to those she loved and to everything she put her mind to, was evident and her legacy lives on through her children, mother, sister, family and loved ones.
Angelia did not leave the founder of the love awards, without the blue print to the event. It is this blue print that Ms. Johnson has strictly followed in honor of her friend, sister and colleague since the inception of the awards platform. We hope that her memory is honored through the honorees we select each year, who also suffer with major health obstacles that would other wise stop them from being the talented individuals they are, had it not been for their love for God, music and people just as Ms. Angelia White did.
